“But,” Rocchi continues, “the thick, lustrous gloss of depravity over this Working Class Season 1 DVD Box Set‘s tired bones gets thin over time, and when you consider that he’s supposed to be on a revved-up rampage of revenge, Cage feels curiously stuck in neutral.”
The Lights Out Season 1 DVD Box Set comes to home video on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D (for viewers with a full HD 3D TV and a Blu-ray 3D player), all with commentary by director Patrick Lussier and co-writer Todd Farmer and two deleted scenes with optional commentary. Exclusive to the Blu-ray is the interactive “Access: Drive Angry” function, which offers viewers opportunities to access interviews periodically through the film and track the body count via “Milton’s Mayhem Meter.” The Blu-ray 3D also features a bonus disc with standard 2D Blu-ray and all the supplements.
